DEEPVESSEL® PLAQUE
AI-Driven Stenosis and Coronary Plaque Analysis
DeepVessel Plaque (DVPlaque) is an investigational device that has not been cleared or approved by the FDA and is not available for commercial sale in the United States. DVPlaque is available for research use only and is not intended for use in diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing any disease.
What is DVPlaque?
DeepVessel Plaque (DVPlaque) is a web-based image analysis device designed to characterize and quantify plaque and stenosis in coronary arteries using previously acquired CCTA DICOM data.
From a standard coronary CT angiography exam, DVPlaque applies deep learning–based image processing to:
- Segment lumen and vessel wall of the coronary arteries
- Plaque presence, components, and burden
- Stenosis severity
- Vessel volume
All measurements are derived from analyst-editable segmentations, and the final results are delivered as structured PDF reports.
Device Description
Advance your approach to coronary artery disease diagnosis, treatment, and management by integrating DEEPVESSEL FFR into DVPlaque workflow.
DVPlaque uses deep learning neural networks to:
- Identify and segment coronary arteries, lumen, and vessel wall from CCTA images.
- Support quality control, allowing trained and qualified analysts to review and edit the automated segmentation where needed.
- Compute measurements of plaque, stenosis, and vessel geometry using simple rule-based mathematical calculations derived from the final segmentation.
DVPlaque Reports
2. Plaque Analysis Report (PDF)
The Plaque Analysis report presents the detailed, quantitative outputs from DVPlaque.
- Vessel-level and patient-level quantitative metrics
- Plaque classification (e.g., non-calcified, calcified, or mixed plaque categories)
- Summary tables that can be exported for statistical analysis
