Keya Medical Raises $46M in Series D Round

Keya Medical, a leading medical technology manufacturer, has raised $46 million in Series D funding. This funding round was led by new and existing investors, including CICC Capital, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Investment Fund, Qianhai Gaozu Asset Management Fund, and IN CAPITAL.
This investment is the fourth large-scale funding round that Keya Medical has completed within the past year, bringing funding to over $110 million in 2020. The financing will support Keya Medical’s AI product development and global business expansion in the new year.

Keya Medical is developing medical solutions using deep learning for cardiology, neurology, pulmonology, and other specialties. Keya Medical’s flagship product, DeepVessel FFR, is a software medical device that uses deep learning technology to perform a non-invasive physiological functional assessment of the coronary arteries using coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA) scans. In 2020, DeepVessel FFR became the first AI software medical device to receive regulatory clearance from the Chinese National Medical Products Administration. The company also received U.S. Food & Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for the intracranial hemorrhage triage software, CuraRad®-ICH. The company will continue to develop products using AI that support healthcare delivery organizations in providing better patient care.
